They are just felt in different situations.
A heartbreak is felt from breaking up with someone.
A heartbreak is felt when you realize that your parents are getting a divorce.
A heartbreak is felt when your favorite dog dies.
A heartbreak is felt when your friends leave you when you need them.
A heartbreak is felt when your child doesn’t obey you.
A heartbreak is felt when your teenage daughter unexpectedly gets pregnant.
A heartbreak is felt when your grandmother doesn’t recognize anyone anymore because of Alzheimer’s.
Bottom line: A heartbreak is felt when something we care for and love unconditionally unexpectedly gets into situations we never saw were coming. Once each of these people who have been in situations like these can relate to one another. Not just because you didn't go through the same situation doesn’t mean you’re not able to relate to the pain they’re going through. That’s the wonder of life. Everyone goes through the same pain but not everyone goes through the same situation.
