Michael Jackson Memorial Review

Posted by MKatBautista at 9:46 PM
i know it's pretty late but i just haven't had the chance to blog about the memorial since the event happened...

-First and foremost, i learned a new word: Hearse, which also means casket. ^_^

-I was imagining the casket would open and He will get out and say it was all part of his come back, as we all know, Michael Jackson has always been unpredictable... teehee!

-The kinda hair raising/goosebumping(?) part there was Jennifer Hudson's number... coz Michael spoke at the end, all with feelings... as if he was really there saying all those...

-I thought the "We are the World" Finale would be sung by an All star cast... although the girl named Judith Hill did a great rendition of the song as well with "Heal the World".

-Usher's number was the most touching of all since he was the only one who went down and touched Michael Jackson's casket.

- What made me really sad was the end part after they took Michael Jackson's casket and the spotlight was fixed on the mic with no one behind it while the "Man in the Mirror" music background was playing... Made it clear that the world just lost a performer...

-This has been the most watched event since Obama's Inauguration and most certainly Princess Diana's funeral.

- I'm very Thankful that I became part of the Michael Jackson era... waaaayyyy better than being part of Elvis Presley's.... no offense though...^_^

My other queries were already answered by the news updates after the memorial:
- about Mariah Carey's singing
- John Mayer's number
- and the most controversial of all, Paris Katherine Jackson's comments about her father.

Rest In Paradise Michael Jackson!
